Account Issues -- Whom to Contact?

Postby Gary » Sat Mar 12, 2011 2:41 pm

Something is askew with my account. I wanted to be able to log in from work but could not remember my password, so I tried the account recovery method; however, the system reported my e-mail account was not recognized. I am able to log in from home because I have my login and password stored in Keychain (Mac OsX).

Anyway, if one of the Great Powers could help get my account info straight it would be greatly appreciated. :as:

I had a similar problem when I tried to log in away from home a couple of times. The BBS just didn't want to send me an email. I've looked over the Administrator Panel and I don't see how this feature is managed, so it must be above my pay grade; Elmo will have to look into it (or give me a raise :D).

Thanks. Should I PM her or hope she opts to see what's being stirred up in this forum? :peekaboo:

She will probably see this Thread when she pops in, but it's perfectly fine to send her a PM.

OMG I've been woefully absent in here, and forgot about the PM after I read it. I'm so sorry. I've been really sick the past couple of weeks... however, changing the password through email should work now, as RJ has referenced. :peekaboo:

Sorry to hear you were sick and hope you're better. :coma:

BTW -- I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden, I don't have to log back on to the forum if I change the page or after I post. Very odd, but very nice :geek:

I haven't tried the password reset option yet, but if I encounter any issues I'll be sure to speak out.

That's odd. You shouldn't have to log back in that often. I'm glad it stopped doing that to you. Have you changed the link you use to come to ReNext, by any chance?

Thanks! I am. I still have a little chest congestion, and haven't quite regained all my hearing and sense of smell, but I'm working out again with no problem, so that's healthy enough :fitness:

Heh, that's weird. Might be a caching thing with your browser. :veryhappy:

*sigh*

Perhaps I have angered the Nussey gods?

Well, legend *is* that the Nussey side was Nassau Vikings. Or it could mean a nut tree on a hill. Whatevvs. :slugger:

Check out my response in the other thread, hopefully it's cleared up....

That's weird. What prompted that response? You definitely exist here, obviously, and you have an email on file. I don't know if it's the email you want, of course. Were you just trying to have your password emailed to you?

After a few PMs back and forth, RJDiogenes finally got everything straight
